THE DELTA LADIES are multi-instrumental duoVicky Martin & Diana Stone who perform regularly throughout the UK and France as a duo, trio, or band. They perform both acoustic & electric shows.

Vicky Martin plays Guitar, Lap Steel, Kandela, Uke & Bouzouki. Diana Stone plays Piano, Fiddle, Keyboards & Accordion. The music, is an energetic  mix of originals & cover versions with influences ranging through vintage New Orleans rhythm & blues, Americana, swing and rock & roll, to Bluegrass and American roots music.

On occasion THE DELTA LADIES expands to a trio or band – they add Lee Collins (Robin Bibi, Afro World Orchestra) on percussion or drums, and Anita Mazzotta (London Stage, Broadway) – vocals.

In addition the DELTA LADIES are pleased to welcome ALAN GLEN (Nine Below Zero, Yardbirds, Dr Feelgood) on harmonica for selected shows. They complete the rhythm section with GLYNN EVANS (Martha & the Vandellas) on bass, and DANNY BRYAN (Bex Marshall) on percussion.

The DELTA LADIES  are regular performers at the world famous 100 Club where they recently had a triumphant album launch. Additionally they have played over 1300 shows in the UK and France including, the Famous Eel Pie Club (home of British Blues), Freddie’s Joint Toulouse, Bulls Head Barnes, Cambridge Folk Club, Charlotte Street, Round Midnight Islington, Blues Kitchen, Tunnels Bristol, Blues at the Farm, Royston Folk Club, Bar Gabariers St. Denise (Fr), St. Harmonica’s London. They have appeared at many festivals, Cambridge Rock Fest, Upton Acoustic, Hayling Island Boogaloo Fest, Colne, Plumpton. They had a famously storming appearance with French Band AWEK at the Blues at Beziers Festival. They have been backing band for Linda Gail Lewis (Jerry Lee’s sister), Tim Aves and Earl Jackson. Support slots have included Chris Farlowe, Larry Garner, Hans Theesink, Larry Miller & Jerry Donahue.

DELTA LADIES have a first class reputation for varied entertaining shows with Diana Stone’s fiddle showcases and their American Roots hoedowns as noted highlights.

Finally as tribute to the DELTA LADIES pedigree they have welcomed numerous noted musicians on live shows Robin Bibi,  – Art Themen (Stan Tracey), Tony Reeves (John Mayall, John Martyn), Louis Cennamo (Renaissance), Rafael Ravenscroft (Baker Street- Gerry Rafferty), , Gwyn Ashton, Nick Newell (Zoot Money).
